I love this community and I’m proud to represent my district.

Meet Kellam

Kellam Venosky is a lifelong resident of Goshen, graduated from Goshen High

School in 2010, and now works and lives here in Goshen because of his love for this community. Raised in a conservative Christian household my parents have instilled in me Republican values.

Venosky earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Grace College in 2015, but studied elementary/special education, youth ministry, and theater, so “people studies.”  During his time at Grace College he served as secretary and president of Circle K International and secretary of the Council for Exceptional Children. In these leadership roles he served on the Student Senate at Grace College to allocate resources to clubs and activities around campus. Community service and youth have played a vital role in his life.

He began a career at Goshen College in 2015 as an Operations Coordinator and has moved into a Senior Admissions Counselor role, continuing his commitment to schooling and the global youth where he works with domestic students and international students. He is a fan of the Goshen College Maple Leaf athletics.

Community Engagement/Involvement

He is active in his local church, Grace Community Church, serving in many areas within Family Ministries. The church motto is “In the Community. For the Community,” and that is how Venosky desires to represent this community.

Aside from work and church, Venosky might also be found supporting the arts and/or performing in a theater group or an orchestra. Most recently he has been involved with Premier Arts (Elkhart), Maple City Community Orchestra (Goshen), and the Symphony of the Lakes (Winona Lake).

I enjoy being involved and that is what I want to do with this campaign. I’m already involved with a number of organizations, some leaning more Republican and some leaning more Democrat, so with my campaign I want to be a voice for the people. At the end of the day we are all still neighbors and what is best for Goshen.
