We envision a city with the highest quality of life and lowest cost of living in the Midwest.

We exist to ensure the hierarchy of human needs is fulfilled for every individual in Goshen. We live and work in Goshen and understand great cities are built on this hierarchy of needs:

1. Safety and security
2. Economic opportunity
3. Ability to be engaged with equality
4. Placemaking

each of the above needs:

Your government is here to serve you. This is why it is our promise to foster an efficient, effective and accountable government. This doesn't mean we need to slash our city budget. It does mean we need to ensure all departments run in the most productive manner possible - which means looking at how to improve our organizational structure and procedures.

Economic Opportunity

improved transportation

Many road and trail projects have been in the works for the past 20 years and will be constructed during the next four years. Our team has expertise in engineering and a solid understanding of each of these projects. We must continue to assess and develop future roadway plans for the next 20 years. Improving traffic flow into and out of the city helps attract new residents and businesses.

Safety & Security

talent recruitment
& retention

The segments of our economy that drive the most wealth are business and management, science and technology, banking and finance, and arts and culture. A community that fosters equality for all and creates low entry barriers for businesses has a greater chance of recruiting the social capital we desire.

Ability To Be Engaged With Equality

Let’s continue to reimagine our public spaces as the heart of our community. This transformative approach inspires people to create and improve their public places. Placemaking strengthens the connection between people and the places they share.
