[How Mary Helped] The Launch

Hello, Goshen! Guess what? Tomorrow we are launching a weekly blog series titled, “How Mary Helped.”

Over the coming months, I don’t just want to give you a few tidbits of information about how I have helped Goshen over the past 13 years. I don’t just want to entertain you with stories from my life and work. I don’t just want to enlist your support.

All of those things are fine and dandy, but they’re not enough. My real goal is simple:

I want to give you a glimpse into my life and in turn get to know you as well.

I want to meet you exactly where you are, right now, and give you the exact information you need to make an educated vote on November 3. The only outcome I really and truly care about is our city’s success, because if I can help you, and we work together to grow Goshen, then I believe we will get to where we want to go.

So, tell me where you are.

Tell me where you feel Goshen is struggling.

Tell me how I can help.

And then strap yourself in.

Because you and me, my friend?

We’re going places. Fast.

Mary Cripe

As the City of Goshen Civil Engineer, I am confronted on a daily basis to make decisions that move our city forward and provide for its hardworking citizens. I have gratefully accepted this responsibility to serve you for more than 13 years. I have firsthand knowledge of what it means to be mayor and the very difficult decisions that come along with this significant leadership role. I have a solid understanding of what is required for the efficient operations of our city. I ask for your vote on November 3rd - it would be an honor to serve you in this new capacity.
